Two more clay heads invaded my workspace! I made them for school this year. They do not look that good and some spots are broken, but I didn’t feel like throwing away something I worked on for a long time. I even kept the one from last year, which is actually worse. X)
Anyway, here are some WIP to keep this blog updated. A random character with a water gun, a skeleton lady who will be finished when I get a new black ballpoint pen, and an imaginary city. The sleeping beauty one is from last summer, I gave it up. But now that I have time, let’s finish this thing!
“Prédateurs”, our short film in 2D stop-motion (paper characters) for Supinfocom Arles, second year.
(I wanted to edit the previous note because of the ugly preview, but it seems that tumblr won’t let me turn text notes into video. Damn.)

Some of you might remember the small series about hybrids I drew two years ago. While in search of the missing works I wanted to add to my portfolio, I found the trial version of those works, and a sketchbook full of ballpoint pen animals. It was still looking like a structured monster, designed to be somewhat believable (if you forget about the fact that half of its legs is missing - as I said, trial version!).
For the final series of 3 pictures, it evolved toward something much more abstract, working on the aesthetic of shapes instead of a relevant design for a living creature. Though, I tried to increase their bizarre aspect by melting together strange looking existing creatures that had nothing in common rather than sticking with classic insects/arachnids.
For some reasons, I still like these. =) And that is what got me into ballpoint pen, such a great technique!
Final paintings for my illustration class: Ligeia by Edgar Allan Poe.
Watercolour and pencil.
I found some doodles in my sketchbook while scanning school works - totally forgot about these!
Have some random/silly stuff drawn during classes. (And normal sketches, too.)
3D renders for school, we had to design a tricycle. It’s the first work I’m quite satisfied with, actually, so here you go!
